  1. I’m so excited and happy for you with the bebe and the getting the eff out of grad school. Congrats on the fellowship. It must be a relief to know you’ll have that funding for the next year.

    Seems like those people who thought you were having a boy were off on their forecast. Te mando abrazos.

  2. Thank you, Cindy!🙂 I don’t know when I’ll ultimately get out, but being able to pay some bills while I try is definitely going to help. Baby’s going to slow things down, but I’m happy that it’s life taking precedence over grad school for once after the opposite being true for so long.

    The contrarian in me is giddy about the predictions being wrong, especially the ones that were based on sexist stereotypes, like the heartbeat being strong or having felt movement early–that wasn’t a sign that it was a boy, but of how kickass this little girl is gonna be.😉
